Join us for the annual “Drive Sober. No Regrets.” statewide campaign, aimed at promoting safe, responsible celebrations throughout the holiday season. This initiative emphasizes the importance of sober driving and offers Texans engaging, hands-on experiences to highlight the dangers of impaired driving. Brand Ambassadors will help drive TxDOT’s safety message to the public in an interactive, memorable way.
Brand Ambassadors for TxDOT’s “Drive Sober. No Regrets.” campaign will engage with the public at various Walmart locations across Texas, encouraging safe holiday celebrations through interactive, holiday-themed activities. Responsibilities include welcoming and guiding visitors through games like a driving simulator, drunk goggles, and festive challenges such as corn-hole and basketball toss. Ambassadors will educate attendees on sober driving options using key campaign talking points, conduct surveys to gather visitor feedback, report interaction metrics to the Outreach Manager, and ensure a positive, engaging experience.

Job Responsibilities
Event Engagement:
Invite visitors to participate in activities like a driving simulator, virtual reality games, “drunk goggles,” and holiday-themed challenges.
Distribute and collect survey feedback to gauge participant responses to the campaign.
Lead activities like the corn-hole game and basketball toss, providing a fun, festive environment.
Use provided talking points to educate visitors on sober driving options, such as designating a sober driver, rideshares, and mass transit.
On-Site Reporting and Assistance:
Stand and actively engage with attendees throughout the entire activation.
Report interaction and impression counts to the Outreach Manager.
Arrive 30 minutes before the event start time for setup and briefing and stay until all activities are packed up and closed.
Attire:
Provided Attire: Campaign t-shirt.
Required Attire: Black pants (provided by Brand Ambassador), holiday-themed accessories (if desired).
Weather Consideration: Outdoor event - bring layers, as jackets or long-sleeve shirts worn under the campaign shirt are encouraged.
Qualifications:
Outgoing, friendly, and professional demeanor with a strong interest in public safety and community outreach.
Ability to stand for the duration of the event (4.5 hours).
Able to follow directions, be punctual, and work well within a team environment.
Comfortable engaging with the public and explaining campaign messages.
