Job Overview: We are seeking one enthusiastic and engaging bilingual female Brand Ambassador to represent VIA Metropolitan Transit at an upcoming outdoor tabling activation. The focus of this event is to promote VIA's ride-share system, VIA Link, and educate the public about its benefits. The ideal candidates will be outgoing, organized, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for attendees. As a Brand Ambassador for VIA Metropolitan Transit, you will engage with the public to promote VIA Link, answering questions and educating attendees about the ride-share system. You’ll distribute promotional materials and assist with minor setup and breakdown tasks, such as organizing materials, arranging the activation space, and tidying up after the event. Throughout the activation, you will ensure the area is presentable and inviting while providing excellent customer service to create a positive and informative experience for attendees. Event Location: Holidays on Houston St Market (San Antonio, TX) Event Address: Exact address will be given upon booking confirmation Date & Time: December 14, 1:30PM - 9:00PM Pay: $28.00/hr Responsibilities: Engagement & Education: Actively engage with the public and communicate the benefits of VIA Link. Answer questions about VIA Metropolitan Transit and the VIA Link system in a professional and friendly manner. Distribution of Materials: Hand out promotional materials to event attendees. Setup & Breakdown: Assist the client with minor setup tasks, including organizing promotional materials and arranging the table and chairs to make the space presentable and inviting. At the end of the activation, assist with putting materials away and tidying up the activation space. Event Support: Ensure the activation area is clean, organized, and visually appealing throughout the event. Provide feedback and report any public comments or concerns to the on-site client. Qualifications: Must be personable, approachable, and comfortable interacting with the public. Prior experience as a Brand Ambassador or in a similar customer-facing role is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be punctual, professional, and reliable. Comfortable standing and interacting for extended periods. Ability to assist with light setup and breakdown duties.
