Gail & Rice is currently hiring local, experienced Brand Ambassadors to work at the Orange County (Anaheim) Auto Show with a Ride & Drive team as Registration staff. Event: 2024 Orange County (Anaheim) Auto Show – EV Ride & Drive Location: Anaheim Convention Center – 800 West Katella Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92802 Dates & Hours – Ride & Drive Event: • Thursday, October 3: 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM • Friday, October 4: 11:30AM to 9:00 PM • Saturday, October 5: 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM • Sunday, October 6: 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM • 1/2 hour unpaid lunch. Staff will receive additional paid breaks. • Staff will be hired as W2 temporary employees, taxes will be withheld, OT when applicable, and paid bi-weekly via direct deposit. Rate: $26.00/hr. + $59.00 per diem/day + up to $30.00 per day reimbursement for parking/Uber/Lyft with detailed receipts submitted at the end of the event Wardrobe: • Staff to wear their own: • Black dress pants. • NO leggings, cropped/yoga pants, or athleisure wear. • Black athletic or casual closed-toe shoes (Nike / Vans / Toms / Etc.) • NO high tops, Converse with a white toe, or opened toe shoes. • Socks: no-show/minimal show socks. • Female Staff Hair & Make-up: Very finished look. Nails manicured with either nude or pale pink polish. • Male Staff: Well-groomed facial and head hair. Short fingernails. Provided Wardrobe: • Branded sleeveless shirts will be provided on-site. Registration Assistant Job Description: Brand Ambassador to be proactive with consumer engagement as a Ride & Drive Registration Assistant. The role will consist of but not limited to: • Staff will register consumers to participate with the Ride & Drive with iPads. • Welcome consumers into the display. • Provide applicable color-coded wrist bands. • Check valid driver’s licenses to ensure the consumer is eligible to drive. • Conduct contactless breathalyzers for consumers. • Exit Surveys. • Assist with light set-up & tear down of Registration equipment. • Crowd Gathering - drive traffic to the R&D event, by walking around the area to promote the R&D event & encourage consumers to participate in the event. Additional details required for the event: • Applicant MUST be available for ALL dates & times. No exceptions. • Applicants MUST be at least 18 years old. • Applicants MUST be able to stand for duration of shift. • Applicants MUST arrive event ready. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
