Team Member, Social Impact Programs
EMPLOYMENT PERIOD: Temporary Contract (3 months) starting Friday, Sept 13 2024 with possibility of full-time direct employment based on performance & company need.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are currently recruiting for a Team Member to help prepare, support and execute professional run volunteer events throughout the US. With numerous events taking place per week, this role will be an important member on the event production team based in Denver. The role will be based in our Denver office, with possible occasional travel out of state.
The Team Member will be responsible for assisting the project & operations team with tasks associated with planning, preparation & execution of social impact and volunteerism programs for our clients across the US and overseas. They will work with team members and nonprofit partners to support the delivery of these volunteer programs.
Work Environment: The role involves a mix of working environments, including temperature-controlled indoor office spaces, outdoor event locations, and a warehouse that is not temperature controlled. Flexibility and adaptability to varying working conditions, depending on the needs of the business, are essential.
EXPERIENCE:
While our team trains our team members on company's proprietary methodologies, we expect applicants to have experience in managing or coordinating detailed event logistics.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Project & Operations Team with the production of comany programs, including:
• Nonprofit Partnerships & Project Development
o Expand and maintain Company's national nonprofit partner database through research.
o Collaborate with the projects and sales teams to design and develop innovative programs that align with nonprofit needs.
Project Planning & Pre-Production Support
o Assist in the creation and customization of event materials, signage, and project instructions.
o Support project managers with nonprofit communication, tracking, and vendor management.
o Keep documents, trackers, and records up to date.
Project Supply Logistics & Warehouse Support
o Manage end-to-end supply logistics, including procurement, inventory, and coordination of shipments.
o Oversee event site logistics, ensuring efficient setup and supply management.
o Prepare and organize supplies for shipment to volunteers, nonprofits, and event sites.
Project Execution Support
o Support the coordination and execution of in-person and virtual events, ensuring a seamless experience.
o Lead day-of event support staff and guide volunteer groups through activities.
o Collaborate with clients and brand teams to meet expectations and adapt as needed.
o Assist with post-event impact reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.
DIGITAL SKILLS:
• Familiarity with Microsoft products such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel etc
• Preferred but not required. Famliarity with Abode products, Salesforce, Trello, Zoom, Google Drive
REQUIREMENTS
• Must have a reliable laptop and cell phone. A monthly stipend of $75 will be provided to cover cell phone usage.
• Valid driver’s license
• Detail oriented, proficient at time management, excellent multitasking & problem-solving abilities
• A passion for purpose and community.
• Experience working with nonprofits, brand partnerships or client management.
• Ability to maintain excellent written and verbal communication, especially an understanding of corporate email & meeting etiquette.
• Ability to work within the challenging and fast-paced event production environment, professionally handling last minute changes with clients and nonprofit partners.
• An entrepreneurial team spirit with a willingness to use their skills across all aspects of a rapidly growing company.
• Must be dependable, prompt, have a willingness to ask questions, and maintain a positive attitude with exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to move boxes up to 50lbs as needed at the warehouse, office or at event location.
• The ability (and desire) to travel in the future.
