We’re looking for passionate, reliable, energetic, and experienced In-Store Demo Representatives to prepare, cook, and sample a variety of different food products at wholesale restaurant supply stores across the country. PAY: Based on location *Paid as a W2 Employee DATES: March, 2025 - Ongoing DAYS: Monday - Friday demos (No weekends) DURATION: 4 hour demos SHIFT TIMES: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM DETAILS: 1-6 demos per week on a weekly basis No weekends! As an In-Store Representative, you will introduce customers to new products and brands through cooking and non-cooking demonstrations, while also focusing on merchandising, building customer relationships, gathering feedback, and driving sales. RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up and maintain an appealing demo station within the store. Prepare and distribute samples of food products to highlight product offerings. Cooking skills are required for this task. Examples of dishes you may prepare: * Deep frying chicken tenders * Searing fish filets * Burgers/Hot Sandwiches * Smoothies * And more! Engage with consumers to educate them on the featured products, benefits, and ingredients, actively selling promoted products utilizing strong sales techniques. Comfortably discuss product suitability and application in professional kitchens with restaurant owners and chefs. Gather feedback from consumers and communicate it effectively to the appropriate teams. Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking demo supplies as necessary. Collaborate with store personnel to ensure a seamless customer experience. Keep meticulous tracking of sales data and metrics during demos. Take photos of demo setups and products for promotional purposes. Pay close attention to detail to ensure accurate reporting on customer feedback and sales performance. REQUIREMENTS: Must have Food Handlers Certification/ServSafe Certification (or the ability to get one upon hiring) Must be 18+ Must be comfortable with cooking elaborate recipes that require more preparation and technique than simple assembly. Must be able to navigate unpredictable situations and adapt to last-minute changes as needed. Must be comfortable discussing products and ingredients with restaurant owners and chefs Must be comfortable cooking with appliances Must be comfortable working in-store demos & pushing sales Must be comfortable taking photos and completing post-event recaps Previous experience in customer service, sales, or food-related roles is a plus.
