Position: Lead Generator
Location: Illinois with potential travel to sister markets including Pittsburgh, New York, Houston, Iowa, Ohio, and St. Louis, MO
Compensation: $20 per hour + $50 bonus for every lead that turns into a demo. You must be able to maintain gathering 2 leads per hour during your shift. PAID WEEKLY!
Position Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Lead Generator. In this role, you will represent our brand face-to-face at various scheduled events across a designated territory. Your primary goal will be to build brand awareness and transform this awareness into actionable sales leads by engaging directly with prospective customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Attend consumer-facing shows, including home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events across Illinois and potentially other US markets.
• Engage with event attendees, deliver informative product demonstrations, and effectively generate sales leads.
• Skillfully overcome objections using industry-leading sales techniques and resources.
• Manage the transport, assembly, and disassembly of lightweight display equipment and marketing collateral.
• Accurately submit sales leads at the conclusion of each shift and meet predetermined performance goals and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
• Proven ability to actively listen, rebut objections, and answer product-related questions.
• Must possess a smartphone for company timekeeping applications and lead submissions.
• Capability to stand for extended periods and interact energetically with a diverse audience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and travel occasionally, including overnight stays.
• Outgoing, friendly, and energetic personality, with a strong customer service or sales background.
• Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and a self-driven approach to achieve goals.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation for commuting to event locations.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country without needing sponsorship for an employment visa.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Certifications:
• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or the home improvement industry is highly desirable.
Travel Requirements:
• This role requires occasional overnight travel, primarily within Illinois and to designated sister markets.
