Job Summary: The primary duty of the Brand Ambassador (BA) is to work with program management to execute scheduled program activities. While at a signed promotion, the BA will be building brand and company awareness and gain exposure and trial at promotional program activities. The position also requires the BA to keep up to date on current and relevant promotions and information related to their position. The BA will also complete all other duties as assigned by program management and/or GMR Corporate Staff. GMR Duties & Responsibilities: Represent GMR Marketing, the LEGO Group, and the Walt Disney Company in a professional manner at all times. Effectively and professionally communicate with teammates, consumers, and staff. Maintain a positive and motivated attitude in all situations. Adhere to and understand all rules, regulations, and procedures. Remain open to feedback, guidance, and direction as it pertains to job performance and personal growth. Present a clean and professional appearance at all times. Be extremely punctual and effectively manage time. Direct behavior to achieve program and individual goals as well as core GMR values. Consistently motivated to meet or exceed desired team and individual results and goals. Meet or exceed expectations and objectives of the program. Provide timely communication to management. Program Essential Competencies, Duties, & Responsibilities: Greet and direct guests through the event space in a positive manner, ensuring all guests have a positive experience at the activation. Proactively engage with event attendees who are passing by the footprint and encourage them to visit our activation. Attend to various stations throughout the footprint, including (but not limited to): Line management & positioning of character standees Distribution of Scavenger Hunt cards to guide consumers through footprint Distribution of additional collateral, as needed Collecting consumer contact information at the footprint photo opportunity Capturing photos of consumers at the footprint photo opportunity General maintenance of interactive mural & photo opportunity to ensure both stations remain functional & clean Program Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Must enjoy working with young children and families. Any background in early childhood education is a plus. Tech savvy: ability to use a mobile device or tablet for photo capture. Must be outgoing and friendly. Any knowledge of or interest in LEGO products is preferred. GMR Brand Ambassador Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age or older Have reliable transportation to get to and from events Wear required uniform Review training manual prior to shift and attend onsite training Educational & Experience Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred One year work experience in related field Strong Communication, interpersonal, and organization skills are essential, as well as the ability to prioritize and multi-task Language Ability: Written and conversational knowledge of the English language and grammar Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
