Havas Street is hiring a Full-Time ONGOING Field Manager to manage our Chicago, IL territory representing a well-known BEER BRAND. In this role you will lead and oversee market sampling On/Off premise events. This is a full-time salaried position with a start date targeted for February 2025, running through January 2, 2026. There will be a 6 week paid trial period! The ideal candidate will manage events, ensure sampling compliance, oversee a team of Brand Ambassadors, and maintain positive client relations while meeting program KPIs. INTERVIEWS WILL BE CONDUCTED IN-PERSON! MARKET Chicago, IL TRAINING Training will be in person. HOURS You MUST have a flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. RESPONSIBILITIES Sampling Event Management: - Execute and manage all aspects of market events, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines. - Oversee the storage, distribution, and use of POS materials and event assets. - Strategically schedule and coordinate event staffing. - Attend and support events consistently to ensure success. - Manage budget and submit monthly financial reports. - Prepare and process payroll reports weekly, even during holidays. Brand Ambassador Team Management: - Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise Brand Ambassadors. - Coach the team to reinforce key talking points, best practices, and sampling legalities. Client Relations: - Serve as the primary contact for local sales teams, retailers, and consumers. - Maintain responsive communication and foster positive relationships. - Share best practices and ensure program KPIs are consistently met. QUALIFICATIONS - MUST BE LOCAL to the Chicago IL metro area (within 20 miles of Chicago city center). - 3+ years' experience in field marketing industry. At least 2+ years' experience of management experience in the spirits/beer industry on/off premise execution. - Extensive knowledge of designated market territory. - Proven program & staff management experience. - All offers are contingent on a successful completion of a criminal background check & motor vehicle report. - Flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular). - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and comfort driving daily. - Must be 21+ years old. - Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. - MUST have experience training & building a brand ambassador team of 20-30 BAs SKILLS & ABILITIES - Staff- and client-respected leadership qualities demonstrating proven ability to lead by example. - Is appropriate, approachable, and fair, and creates valued relationships with staff. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a comfort level effectively troubleshooting onsite challenges as they arise. - Can meet deadlines while multitasking and ensuring accuracy. - Strong people management and leadership skills to include the ability to mentor staff and provide clear direction. - Knowledge of when to rely on personal judgment and when to seek advice. - Strong independence. - Solid judgment drive and influence. - Must be collaborative and results driven. - Must be willing to travel to assigned market areas within region on a consistent basis. - Typical work week varies week to week and includes nights, weekends, and holidays. - Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. COMPENSATION PACKAGE $1250-$1300 (per week - based on experience) $50/month for cell phone and $50/month for internet (prorated) $60/week mileage reimbursement (prorated)
