About the Project: Discovering the World of Jesus transports guests back 2000 years to experience the culture and traditions of people who lived in the Holy Land. Guests will be presented with the world-renowned collection of Oded Golan, “Discovering Jesus: The James Ossuary & Ancient Artifacts from the Holy Land”, a priceless collection of biblical, first century treasures, featuring more than 300 rare and ancient artifacts from the Holy Land.
Work Environment:
The event is indoors in a climate controlled environment. Team Members will be stationed in Front of House for greeting, ticketing, queuing, wayfinding, guest services, and more. Position requires remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time, and regularly traversing throughout the attraction.
Role & Responsibilities:
Co-Lead is responsible for managing the daily operations of the exhibit, ensuring that visitors have a meaningful, informative, and engaging experience as they explore the exhibit
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for scheduling and hours verification for the event team with support from Thunder Child HQ payroll team
Commitment to the excellence of guest interaction, safety and overall guest experience
Responsible for troubleshooting exhibit elements, including technical and physical aspects, and reporting issues to the appropriate parties
Assist with daily opening and closing of the exhibit that include walking the exhibit and reporting anything that needs to be addressed
Experience with de-escalation and rerouting to appropriate parties for resolution ie PR
Communicate with Thunder Child HQ regarding employee issues and resolutions
Experience in museum or exhibit management is a plus
Onboard and train the event team with support from Thunder Child HQ
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to the excellence of guest interaction, safety and overall guest experience
Secondary Responsibilities:
Comfortable interacting with guests as first point of contact of the experience, including:
line management and guest flow
answering questions
ticketing
ability to answer questions about subject matter
Ensure their station/area is clear of trash, spills etc.
Must have a positive, outgoing, energetic demeanor and able to maintain a good attitude
Knowledge of history, historical artifacts nice to have but not required
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of customer service experience in a lead or supervisory role (museums or exhibits preferred)
Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire

Part time hours (hours per week depend on show needs)
Rate: $27.50 /hour (non-exempt)
Uniform shirt will be provided, khaki pants and black shoes to be provided by the employee
Must be able remain in a stationary position for the duration of the shift, move 25 pounds of materials and traverse the attraction
