About the Project: Transforming the entertainment industry with their popular series, films, and games. Netflix has continued transforming entertainment by bringing some of their popular brands to life through Netflix Live Experiences. Netflix Live Experiences has already launched multiple live experiences and events around the world, reaching millions of fans through live shows such as Stranger Things: The Experience, The Queen's Ball: A Bridgerton Experience and Squid Game: The Trials Experience.. In collaboration with Netflix Live Experiences, we are staffing for Squid Game: The Experience in New York City. We are seeking talented and energetic Team Members to join us in bringing real life experiences to the public. Work Environment: The event is indoors in a climate controlled environment with possible strobe light and loud noise. Food and alcoholic beverages will be served at the venue. Flow Team Members will be stationed in Front of House for greeting, ticketing, queuing, wayfinding, guest services, cashiering for food & beverage, and more. Position requires remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time, and regularly traversing throughout the attraction. Responsibilities: Experience: Experience with line management and guest flow Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with ticketing platforms Experience with Point of Sale systems for snack and beverage sales Comfortable interacting with guests as first point of contact of the experience, including: answering questions ticketing guide our guests to proper queue - VIP/General Admission keep the energy high during long wait times by engaging with all guests explaining what to expect during the show / game fueling fandom in our visitors through a thorough knowledge of the subject matter Commitment to the excellence of guest interaction, safety and overall guest experience Ensure their station/area is clear of trash, spills etc. Must have a positive, outgoing, energetic demeanor and able to maintain a good attitude Understands the necessity of keeping guests engaged in an immersive, in-world experience Requirements: Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (attractions preferred) Important Details: Location: Former Manhattan Mall (33rd St. at 6th Ave) Start Date: September 26, 2024 End Date: September 1, 2025 Part time hours (hours per week depend on show needs) Rate: $21/hour (non-exempt) Uniform shirt will be provided, black pants, black shoes, and black socks to be provided by the employee Must be able remain in a stationary position for the duration of the shift, move 25 pounds of materials and traverse the attraction Why work with us: We are one of the fastest growing event staff agencies.
