About the Project:
Transforming the entertainment industry with their popular series, films, and games. Netflix has continued transforming entertainment by bringing some of their popular brands to life through Netflix Live Experiences. Netflix Live Experiences has launched multiple live experiences and events around the world, reaching millions of fans through live shows such as Stranger Things: The Experience, The Queen's Ball: A Bridgerton Experience and Squid Game: The Trials Experience.
In collaboration with Netflix Live Experiences, we are staffing for Squid Game: The Experience in New York City. We are seeking talented and energetic Team Members to join us in bringing real life experiences to the public.
Work Environment:
The event is indoors in a climate controlled environment, with strobe lights and loud noises. Costumed Show Team Members will lead groups of visitors through the experience and use in-world talking points to create an immersive experience. Position requires remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time and regularly traversing through the experience. Food and alcoholic beverages will be served at the venue.
Responsibilities:
Experience:
Experience with using talking points, improv, receiving and delivering cues, and projecting to a crowd
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to act as the host for the experience and hold the attention of a group of guests
Fueling fandom in our visitors through a thorough knowledge of the subject matter
Stamina for multiple shows throughout assigned shift
Commitment to the excellence of guest interaction, safety and overall guest experience
Must have a positive, outgoing, energetic demeanor and able to maintain a good attitude
Understands the necessity of keeping guests engaged in an immersive, in-world experience through using specific talking points and language
Comfortable interacting with ticketed guests
Requirements:
Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire
Minimum 2 years of customer service or tour guide experience

Location: Former Manhattan Mall (33rd St. at 6th Ave)
Start Date: September 26, 2024
End Date: September 1, 2025
Part time hours (hours per week depend on show needs)
Rate: $24/hour (non-exempt)
Costume to be provided, including face/head covering and shoes (special boot) as needed
Must bring your own black pants, black shoes, and black socks
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for the duration of the shift, wear a costume that may include a mask, move 25 pounds of materials, walk up steps and traverse on a raised platform while speaking
