Job Description: As the Ask Me Staff, you will be the roaming guest services representative. You will be an essential part of our dynamic event team during the MotoGP event in Austin, TX. Your primary role is to assist fans with wayfinding needs, ensuring they have a seamless and enjoyable experience. This team will be actively engaged in guiding and directing guests throughout General Admission (GA) areas and the entire event property. Event Location: Circuit of the Americas Event Address: 9201 Circuit of the Americas Blvd, Del Valle, TX 78617 Schedule: Virtual Training, TBD (1 Hour) March 29, 6:00AM - 7:00PM March 30, 6:00AM - 7:00PM Pay: $28.00/hr Key Responsibilities: Wayfinding Assistance: Serve as a roaming resource for fans seeking directions or information. Be attentive to guest needs and offer guidance to ensure they navigate the event property with ease. General Admission Areas: Assist guests in locating specific areas within the General Admission zones, such as viewing spots, food vendors, restrooms, and entertainment attractions. Property Navigation: Familiarize yourself with the event layout and key landmarks. Provide clear and concise directions to help guests reach their desired destinations. Fan Engagement: Interact with fans in a friendly and approachable manner, creating positive and memorable interactions that enhance the overall event experience. Safety Awareness: Be aware of emergency procedures and provide information on safety protocols, such as the nearest first aid stations or exits. Communication: Collaborate with other event staff members to ensure consistent and accurate information is provided to guests. Qualifications: Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal. Familiarity with the event property and the ability to quickly adapt to changes in event layout or activities. Ability to remain composed under pressure and effectively assist multiple guests simultaneously. Punctuality and reliability are essential. Must be available to work each day. Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or a similar role is a plus. Must demonstrate punctuality and the ability to adhere to early morning schedules.
