Job Description: As a Tower Staff member, you will be an integral part of the Guest Services team stationed at the base of COTA's Observation Deck during the MotoGP events in Austin, TX. Your primary responsibilities will include collecting payment for entry, coordinating the flow of guests to and from the top of The Tower, assisting with access control, and providing information to enhance the guest experience. This is a very busy position so be ready to have some fun with it! Event Location: Del Valle, TX 78617 Schedule: Virtual Training, TBD (1 Hour) March 28, 6:00AM - 7:00PM March 29, 6:00AM - 7:00PM March 30, 6:00AM - 7:00PM Pay: $28.00 Key Responsibilities: Flow Coordination: Manage the flow of guests to and from the top of The Tower, ensuring a smooth and organized experience for visitors. Access Control: Enforce access control protocols to ensure that only authorized individuals gain entry to the Observation Deck area. Guest Assistance: Be available to answer event-related questions and provide information about The Tower's amenities, event schedule, and any other inquiries guests may have. Safety Awareness: Be aware of emergency procedures and provide guidance on safety protocols, such as the location of emergency exits. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other Tower Staff members and event staff to ensure a coordinated and enjoyable experience for guests. Qualifications: Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor. Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear information to guests. Attention to detail and the ability to handle payment transactions accurately. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to address guest inquiries and requests promptly. Punctuality and reliability are essential. Must be available to work each day. Previous experience in guest services, cash handling, or a similar role is a plus. Must demonstrate punctuality and the ability to adhere to early morning schedules.
