Summertime is approaching and that means one thing- grilling season! A major grill compant is hosting a series of demos this summer and we are looking for a well-spoken, engaging, outgoing, and personable Regional Brand Manager to oversee and activate these showcases at The Home Depot on weekends from May 3rd- June 29. Having a passion for grilling is also a huge plus for this position.
The ideal Manager has extensive demo and/or Product Specialist experience. We are looking for a self-starter who can seamlessly execute field events with or without Brand Ambassador support. This person must be able to operate a grill and have a strong understanding of grilling and charcoal categories. Our brand managers are quick-thinking and able to pivot in real-time (changes to requirements by store leadership, weather challenges, etc.).
Mandatory training: April 24 or 25 in Atlanta at client’s HQ.
Hype will arrange travel/lodging/per diem
Responsibilities will include:
Must undergo detailed product training for both the featured grills, be able to showcase, answer questions, & troubleshoot
Preparing and Grilling Easy to Serve Food (ServSafe Certification Required)
Conducting product walk-throughs and answer questions
Ability to troubleshoot products
Interacting with store management, serving as a brand representative
Smart device app capable, familiarity with QR codes
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Management of footprint elements
Transportation of the grill and other footprint elements to and from event location
Set up, breakdown and maintain all promotional items
Train The Home Depot staff on product
Manage and train Brand Ambassador support
On-site contact for clients and staff
Report and communicate event results, findings, and key learnings
Follow all internal procedures and guidelines
Recommend improvements and suggestions throughout the program
Schedule (must be available for all dates)
every Saturday and Sunday beginning Saturday, May 3rd-Sunday June 29th. Times TBD, will be roughly 10am-4pm
